Sorry for the hiatus…but we’ve got LOTS to talk about

So as you can see the blog has been in a bit of a drought…alright it’s been more like the freakin’ dustbowl, I get it.

This break was due to an ample of conundrums but we’re back and I’ve got a ton to discuss. This post is just sort of a “hey we’re still alive” thing and I’m going to let you all know what the coming blog posts are about.

SO, a couple weeks ago I was lucky enough to attend Star Wars Celebration 2019 in Chicago. It was one of the best times of my life and I’m being deadly serious when I say I’d rather attend that again and again than go to a Super Bowl (haven’t told many people that but whatever). Here’s my quick reasoning: the Super Bowl is one day, you’ll likely spend a few grand on just the ticket, and you may not even be able to enjoy yourself if you’re team is in it, win or lose.

At Star Wars Celebration I met so many amazing people from across the world. That was honestly my favorite part, meeting people and just loving Star Wars with them. While at the convention we also went to a panel for Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker where everyone in the room literally teared up and screamed their heads off. The positivity for Star Wars was dripping from the 140,000 in attendance over the 5 days in Chicago which was a relief due to the toxicity of the fandom online.

In the coming weeks we also have a few video games to talk about and there’s a lot going on in the world of sports right now, including Boston going for the Infinity Gauntlet of championships.

Oh yeah that reminds me, we have possibly the biggest blockbuster ever to discuss…a little movie called Avengers: Endgame. And that show Game of Thrones.

What a time!
